Senior Commercial Manager

We're looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to work for our client.

They are a family-owned fresh food-to-go business that supplies public, education sectors, retail, travel, leisure and commercial catering.

If you can demonstrate a background in managing all aspects of commercial relationships and building joint business plans to deliver market share, sales, and profit growth targets, from a food manufacturing foodservice background, then you could be perfect for our client, and we'd love to see your CV

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a portfolio of strategic growth customers. Be a critical contributor to the brand. Managing all aspects of the commercial relationships and building joint business plans to deliver market share, sales, and profit growth targets
  • Being accountable for portfolio performance, ensuring that company profitability, customer requirements and individual growth targets are met
  • Managing one of the largest accounts within the group and the ongoing development of a Commercial Manager and Business Development Manager into the broader channel
  • Monitoring, reporting & forecasting on account performance against sales budget and cash margin to maximise future performance

Requirements:

  • A background in managing all aspects of commercial relationships, building joint business plans to deliver market share, sales, and profit growth targets
  • Additional background in managing and developing relationships with major UK contract catering accounts
  • Further background in collaborating & influencing (internally & externally) track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Great communication, as you will need to interact with customers as well as internal teams daily
  • Excellent leadership qualities & ability to delegate effectively
  • An analytical mindset, you learn from data and previous background
  • Positive and proactive attitude, ready to adapt to the needs of a fast-growing organisation
  • A quick thinker and problem-solver, no issue is too complex for you to find a solution to
  • Exceptionally organised, you can quickly access data and identify trends
  • Autonomous and independent, you can structure your own and the team’s time and juggle multiple tasks at once, knowing what your priorities are
  • A full driving licence is needed for this role

The Package:

  • Basic salary:  Up to £60,000 per annum
  • Benefits:  Car allowance and 10% bonus paid quarterly
