My client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our valued employees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and manage the entire payroll cycle for employees weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
  • Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and company policies and procedures.
  • Calculate and manage deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, statements, and summaries to management.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate employee information and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll procedures and systems improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
  • Stay current with changes in payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional payroll and administrative tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax laws, and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with SD WORX is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Practical communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a solid commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
