Title: Accountant

Location: Geldrop, Netherlands

Salary: €30,000

Are you an experienced and highly skilled accountant looking for a new challenge? My client, a leader in the food ingredients sector, is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be vital in managing various financial tasks and contributing to the company's overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct monthly closings of income statements and balance sheet
• Manage the sales and purchase cycles, including recording invoices, managing payment conditions, and checking ledgers
• Oversee warehouse transactions, including monthly closures and valuation of goods
• Prepare and submit periodic tax returns, including Intrastat forms and VAT declarations
• Collaborate with branch advisors to ensure tax obligations are met in compliance with legal requirements
• Participate in forecasting and budgeting processes, analyzing cost variations compared to the budget

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience as an accountant
• Knowledge in accounting closing, invoices, fiscal declarations, and payroll accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP Business One
• Accounting school diploma
• Dutch mother tongue and fluent in English

• Autonomous with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
