The Role:

To be the right person for Supply Chain Administrator role you will need a direct background in helping the smooth running of the supply chain department through administrative duties.We also need you to have prior a background in processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary.It's important that you also have the following:
- Fantastic office admin skills
- MS Office proficiency, particularly excel and outlookspeakactive skills, especially to be able to speak externally with suppliers and internally with colleagues
- Good time management and organisational skills to meet timescales and deadlines

‍The Role:

‍In the Technical Assistant role, you'll report to the Technical Manager and will be primarily accountable for assisting the Technical Manager by maintaining the food safety, quality and technical systems across the business as well as helping with customer support cover paperwork, specifications, supplier approvals, handling investigations for complaints and helping with audits.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced QA Manager or leader looking to take the next step up into a technical management role.

Specific tasks include:

Maintaining the quality system and ensuring it remains up to date
Inspecting and sampling incoming raw materials
Conducting GMP and internal audits
Maintaining and updating product and customer specifications on various platforms
Conducting product traces, recall exercises and mass balance checks for third-party audits

‍The Candidate:

‍To be the right person for the Technical Assistant role you will need a direct background in assisting with BRC, customer and other third-party audits. We also need you to have prior background in meat production - this is essential. It's also essential that you've got a background in maintaining the quality system and ensuring it remains up to date.

It's important that you also have the following:

Experience in a similar technical / quality role in the food industry
Good technical knowledge and a passion to learn
An ability to develop excellent colleague, customer and supplier relationships
Experience in auditing with knowledge of BRC requirements

‍The basic salary for the Technical Assistant role is between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

All of their products are of the highest quality, sourced from British farmers, and ultimately supporting the nation’s agriculture industry.
