‍The Role:

‍In the Retail Account Manager role, you'll report to the Retail Account Director and will be primarily accountable for customer sales into Asda and Aldi who are key retail accounts. Developing and growing your accounts with a focus on providing exceptional service and growth.

Specific tasks include:

• Managing existing customers, focusing on growth and development
• Working directly with, manufacturing suppliers, company commercial, technical and operations teams to ensure maximum efficiency and communication amongst internal and external customers
• Maintaining an exceptional level of standard at all times / exceeding customer expectations, whilst continually maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
• Ensuring all complaints are monitored, conveyed, investigated and resolved quickly and efficiently, within the required time frame
• Assisting with managing projects such as nutritional and product changes and overseeing the product development process

You'll spend part of the working week based in the company's Worcestershire office, and the rest of it working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed on the application.

‍The Candidate:

‍To be the right person for the Retail Account Manager role you will need a direct background in developing both new and existing businesses.We also need you to have prior background in:

• Speaking, presenting and influencing at the Executive level
• Retail key accounts
• Poultry sales background would be hugely beneficial

It's important that you also have the following:

• Key Account Management background in food manufacturing
• Experience in selling food ranges to the retailers
• Excellent attention to detail in developing both new and existing business

We need you to be able to travel both within the UK and overseas on occasions and be able to prove your right to work in the UK.

‍The Package:

‍The basic salary for the Retail Account Manager role is between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. You can earn an extra bonus should the company hit its targets. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on the application.
