The Role:
In the Procurement Manager role, you'll report to the Group Procurement Director and will be primarily accountable for purchasing products/materials and service needs, ensuring quality products are obtained at competitive prices in a timely fashion. You will play an integral role in ensuring the company stays within budget and operates profitably.
Specific tasks include:
You'll spend part of the working week based in the company's Worcestershire office, and the rest of it working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed on the application.
The Candidate:
To be the right person for the Procurement Manager role you will need a direct background in purchasing goods and services at the most competitive prices whilst maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. We also need you to have prior a background in maximising space utilisation at the site in line with established stock limits.
It's also essential that you've got a background in food manufacturing specifically poultry or other meat proteins.
